the Issygrid first smart grid district in France and the GreenOffice Rueil positive energy office building. Both projects have been developed by Bouygues Immobilier.

- the "SEDIF" water distribution network through the visit of Veolia Water site. "SEDIF" is a public institution in charge of the drinking water production and distribution of 150 cities of the Paris Region (4 million inhabitants). 

 

Each tour is independent and includes:

  • The visit(s)
  • Transfers by bus from Paris Porte de Versailles

All organizational and logistics costs are taken care of by Paris Region Entreprises.

Registration is required due to limited capacities and will be submitted to validation.

Waste recovery tour: using the biogas from waste to produce energy - Tuesday 13 October from 2:00 to 5:00pm

The Plessis Gassot landfill

This business tour offers a unique opportunity to visit a landfill that turns non-recyclable waste from municipalities and commercial operations into renewable energy (electricity and heat).

The biogas recovery system was launched in June 2014 by Veolia Propreté, Dalkia and Clarke Energy. This is the only scheme in France that uses the energy produced from landfill gas to deliver heating and hot water to homes and facilities.

 

                                                      

Veolia Environnement is a French transnational company with activities in water management, waste management and energy services

Dalkia is an energy service company that offers management and maintenance services to operators of industrial production sites, public utilities, offices and hospitals. Dalkia is a subsidiary of Veolia Environnement and Électricité de France.

Clarke Energy is a multi-national specialist in the engineering, installation and maintenance of engine-based power plants.

The SEDIF is the water authority for the Greater Paris area and the French leader in water services which is in charge of the drinking water production and distribution of 150 cities located on the suburbs of Paris (supplying 4 million customers).

The SEDIF missions Veolia Water Ile-de-France to manage its drinking water production and distribution service.

Veolia Water Ile-de-France has launched a major transformation program to centrally control all of the services in real time: the ServO project. 

By registering to this Business Tour, you will have the amazing opportunity to visit the ServO center, the single monitoring and operations water supply control center which takes control of risk and customer response management (treatment plants, supply network, customer response, etc.).
