The HUBZone Summit will be filled with leading industry professionals ready and available to assist you in evaluating new and innovative ways to build your business. Resource specialists will be available to answer questions.

Small Business Administration (SBA): The U.S. Small Business Administration  helps Americans start, build, and grow businesses. The SBA was   created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to   preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.

 

Small Business Development Center: Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can go to their local SBDCs for free face-to-face business consulting and at-cost training, on topics including business planning, accessing capital, marketing, regulatory compliance, technology development, international trade and much more.

HUBZone Council: Our main focus is representing HUBZone Council members for Legislative Reform, Increasing HUBZone Spending, and Economic & Community Development.

 

Koprince Law: At Koprince Law LLC, we believe that Government contractors need attorneys who do more than “dabble in” the FAR.  That’s why we focus our legal services exclusively on federal government contracts law.

NAICS Codes - Market Research False Positives

Since 1998, NAICS Codes have fulfilled a specific purpose in government contracting and is most often identified as a key identifier for small business opportunities. During this session, SCIIF’s Guy Timberlake will detail why that assumption is flawed and why so many have an incorrect understanding of what NAICS Codes mean to Government and Industry.
